May 2008 Missionary Letter

Dear brethren saved by the grace of God,

May was another very busy month. We had a lot of activity specially finalizing our residence change to Ciudad Victoria. Beginning the month of June we will be 100% living in this City, with some sporadic trips to the border of Texas (pick up mail, etc.). As it has been reported, we have prepared some Bibles and other literature that we will be distributing in two subdivisions in Victoria.

Colonia Alvaro Obregon.

We had good progress in the work in this area. A small room for the preaching activity has been built, still with some pending work (see attached pictures). Lord willing we will be starting with the preaching next month in this place. So far, we have been trying to meet the neighbors in that area and witness about the Lord as He opens doors. I met a family who is deeply involved in the worshipping of the “grief reaper”.  This is a growing movement in Mexico, promoted and practiced mainly by drug dealers. Please keep this area in your prayers we see a great need, ask the Lord to give us strength and wisdom as He opens doors to share His Word.

Colonia Chapultepec.

We talked again with a couple families in this area, but we do not have a place to start the preaching here yet. There is not any rental place available at this point. We will continue working with these two families. Please ask the Lord to open hearts and homes to share the Gospel.

Following, I would like to provide an update, and ask for your continual prayers in the needs we have been sharing with you:

Housing

We have moved almost 100% of our belongings/furniture to our house in Victoria now. Beginning June, this is our new address in Mexico:

Calle Teonocaztle # 2102

Esquina con Teocaltiche

Fracc. Teocaltiche

Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas Mexico C.P. 87024

Telephone: (011 52) 834-340-5817

Kids School

The Kids are finalizing the school term this last week of May. We do not have their final grades yet. We already have a couple home school catalogs that we will be using for the continuation of their education.

Thank you for your cards, love and financial support. Please Keep us in your prayers. May the Lord help us to better serve Him.

Your servant in Christ,
