Dear Brethren in the Lord:

"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them
that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto
salvation." (Hebrews 9:28)
In their last report, the brethren said that a man from the work at
Calauag-Quezon, left the group to pursue his desire to found a church
supporting another gospel under the umbrella of one-world church. This
man had already heard the Biblical truth on church perpetuity and
succession of true Baptist churches, yet he relied on his own
understanding and became an easy prey to the devil’s trap. He trusted his
own righteousness and was blinded by self-glory to believe Satan’s lie.
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are
the ways of death." (Proverbs 14:12) May the Lord give this man humility
and grace to understand the Biblical truth pointing to our Lord Jesus
Christ as the Great Founder of the Church at Jerusalem during His earthly
ministry; that the One Kind of church preserved by our Lord through the
centuries is directly responsible to Him and acknowledges no other
Scriptural authority than from the Lord Jesus Christ---the Foundation and
the Sovereign Head of the church; that our Lord promised to perpetuate
His Own Kind of churches after the likeness and order of the One that He
personally and originally established; that these true Baptist churches
have been essentially and intrinsically upholding the same doctrine,
faith, order and practice; that they have existed through the centuries
and are still in existence today fulfilling the Great Commission until
our Lord’s glorious return. "Unto him be glory in the church by Christ
Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."
We thank the Lord for the Ladies' Bible Fellowship held last July 6, at
2-4 p.m. in GMA, Cavite. Jaisereeh, Jonalyn, Tracey, Joan, Tita,
Elizabeth, Jairuleen and Anavir actively participated in studying
Proverbs 31:10-31, with emphasis on the topics, "Who is the Lord's
Virtuous Woman" and "The Woman's Role in the Church." Sister Darl
Valenzuela acted as the ladies’ group coordinator. The brethren from
Cavite welcomed Ana, Paulo, Jenny and Mike in their Sunday and Wednesday
worship.
The Lord's work continues through weekly Bible study at Pembo, Jenny’s
Compound, Pateros, Pasig area, San Pedro, Rosario and Calauag, Quezon
Province. Please pray in behalf of Bro.Nestor, who is having difficulty
walking around and getting to services because of his sore foot. The
weekly Bible study goes on at Poblacion Cainta, Dividend Homes and
Floodway Parola attended by Joy, Jonalyn, Ka Juana (74 yrs.old), Aling
Connie Bonsa, Mang Michael and wife Weng, Ka Myrna, Bro. Frank, Jocelyn,
Ka Sherly, Ka Rolly, Edward and other precious souls. Aling Connie is a
member of a baptist church in the Visayan Islands and was looking for a
place to worship while in Metro Manila area. The brethren were thankful
for visitors to the Sunday worship in Mahinhin this past month: Adhilyn
P. Victor, Edward L. Sisno, Emmanuel P. Merto, Ernie Jose Batacan and
Aldie P. Victor.
We thank the Lord for the brethren at Grace Baptist Church in Mt.Vernon,
Georgetown, KY; South Irvine Baptist Church, Irvine, KY; Bryan Station
Baptist Church, Lexington, KY; Ocoonita Missionary Baptist Church in
Jonesville, VA; and, the other brethren from the Lord's Churches of like
faith and order, for your continued financial support and most especially
for your faithful prayers in our behalf and the Lord's work. May we grow
stronger in God's grace as we wait for His soon return. "Looking for that
blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior
Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:13)

In His glorious service,
Bro. Ed Quetua
