Dear Brethren in the Lord:
"Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their
God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in
the latter days." (Hosea 3: 5)

In last month's report, the brethren said that Sister Grace Glorioso
followed the Lord in baptism last April 21, 2008. They chose the Bulihan
River in Silang, Cavite for the place of baptism. This sister now attends
the Bible teaching at the church. We thank the Lord for His loving mercy
and faithfulness. "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into
death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of
the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." (Romans 6:4)

The Bible study in Silang, Cavite moves on every Saturday afternoon. The
last meeting was attended by Bro. Dharren Valenzuela, Sister Anavir
Santos, Sister Leah Candelario, Jaiseree Candelario, Jorvan Bordallo and
Jairuyleen Nacino. Paolo, Mikmik and Ana Marquez continue to come to the
prayer
meeting every Wednesday at GMA. Bro. J. Glorioso attended the worship
service in Cavite last Sunday. He comes from Cotabato Province in
Mindanao, located in the southern part of the country.

Maritess, Boboy, Mil, Marlon, Rowena and some teenagers came to join the
brethren in the Sunday worship at Maybunga. The Bible teaching at their
place in Jenny's compound-Floodway area is scheduled every Friday
evening. The other church visitors were Rizza, Rodilyn and Shirley.
The participants in the Bible study held recently at Calauag, Quezon
Province were Susan, Turing, Michelle Aling Ading, the Buhatin family,
Molina family, Datu Pomay, Haidy, Marites and Domeng. Calauag, Quezon is
located south of Manila. It is about 12 hrs. round trip by bus from
Cubao, Metro Manila.
The church at Mahinhin welcomed some visitors in their Sunday worship
service. They were Jocelyn, Jenifer, Ricky, and Bro. Arman Del Rosario.
Mang Arman joins the Bible study every Wednesday at 5:00 in the
afternoon. The weekly Bible teaching continues at the Dividend Homes in
Dolores, Taytay; Cainta area; and, at the Parola-Floodway with Jocelyn,
Jomar, Jovelyn, Jane, Jonalyn, Riza, Aling Myrna and Weng, who did not
own a Bible and to whom the Mahinhin church donated one. The brethren
there are working to find Tagalog Bibles for several young people, who
have requested them because they cannot afford to buy their own. Although
English is widely spoken in the Philippines, especially on the island of
Luzon, most people are more comfortable reading the Word of God in their
native tongue of Tagalog.
We thank the Lord for the brethren at Grace Baptist Church in Mt.Vernon,
Georgetown, KY; South Irvine Baptist Church, Irvine, KY; Bryan Station
Baptist Church, Lexington, KY; Ocoonita Missionary Baptist Church in
Jonesville, VA; and, the other brethren from the Lord's Churches of like
faith and order, for your continued financial support and most especially
for your faithful prayers in our behalf and the Lord's work. May we grow
stronger in God's grace as we wait for His soon return. "Looking for that
blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour
Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:13)

In His glorious service,

Bro. Ed Quetua
